The Aspiring Spirit

The “Aspiring Spirit” is named as an homage to Dr. McKenzie’s son, Ian, who believed in the spirit of community and loved learning. Ian’s image is the beautiful smiling face that graces the podcast.

In honoring his memory, Dr. McKenzie seeks to amplify civic, personal & community engagement in the areas of education, community-serving organizations, and in leadership development.
